Cydar’s Augmented Intelligence Software Integrates Seamlessly with Brainlab’s Buzz Digital Information Hub, to Enhance Endovascular Surgery
Cambridge, United Kingdom – Cydar Medical, has today announced a collaboration with Brainlab, the digital medical technology company, enabling its Cydar Maps augmented intelligence software to integrate with Brainlab’s Buzz Digital Information Hub. This allows endovascular surgeons to use advanced surgical visualization and machine-learning technology in real time to enhance data-driven decision making during surgical procedures, and across the entire patient journey.
Cydar Maps uses next-generation GPU cloud computing to create detailed patient-specific 3D maps of soft tissue for procedure planning, image-guided intra-operative navigation, and post-operative review. Cydar Maps will be automatically integrated, displayed, and controlled through Brainlab Buzz to provide surgeons with their preferred operating theatre information and workflows. Buzz 4K visualization technology will display live x-rays combined with the Cydar Maps 3D overlay, enabling surgeons to place a stent-graft faster, easier, and smarter.

Cydar Maps is the first product from Cydar Medical’s integrated software solutions system. It is simple to integrate with the existing imaging hardware that is present in all hospitals undertaking endovascular surgery.
Cydar Maps is currently available in the EU, UK and US. It is certified Software-as-a-Medical Device with an EU CE mark and U.S. FDA 510(k) clearance.
