By Paul Mussenden, CEO, Cydar Medical

Reflecting on 2025, I find myself incredibly proud of what the Cydar team has accomplished, and the rapidly growing impact made by our Cydar Maps product. We are highly energized regarding the opportunities for 2026.

Last year marked a pivotal chapter in our journey. It was defined not just by significant technological progress to meet our customers’ needs, but also by meaningful positive impact for clinicians, hospitals, and the patients they serve. We continue to aspire to advance the future of endovascular surgery. We were honored to be named one of TIME’s Top HealthTech Companies of 2025, reflecting the real-world value Cydar Maps offers to improving the quality of care and efficiency of the delivery of care by our customers.

Advancing Product Innovation with Purpose

At the heart of Cydar’s success in 2025 was our continued relentless focus on product innovation. We made significant further strides to advance our cloud-based, AI-driven solution: supporting the entire lifecycle of vascular procedures—from pre-operative patient assessment and procedure planning to real-time intra-operative guidance and post-operative outcome analysis and ongoing patient surveillance.

Our product development team worked closely with clinicians to ensure that every enhancement addresses real-world challenges. We expanded automated analytics, improved visualization, and strengthened interoperability within hospital ecosystems. This is not innovation for innovation’s sake – it represents purposeful and practical enhancements to further improve clinical workflows, efficiencies and clinical outcomes while reducing variability, radiation exposure, and procedural complexity.

Turning Innovation into Real-World Impact

Equally important in 2025 and reflecting our goals for 2026, was our success in expanded implementation – bringing Cydar Maps to more users. We partnered with leading academic and other medical centers and health systems, reinforcing what we’ve always believed: that intelligent, well-integrated technology can seamlessly fit into clinical workflows and meaningfully enhance clinical decision-making.

By listening closely to our clinical and other stakeholders we built trust—and that trust translated into adoption, advocacy, and shared success.

Strengthening Relationships with Clinicians and Thought Leaders

In 2026 we will build on the progress in 2025 as a landmark year for growing engagement with key opinion leaders and stakeholders across the endovascular surgery community. From major conferences to focused clinical forums, Cydar had a strong and growing influence and presence.

We were proud to collaborate with world-class endovascular surgeons and interventional radiologists, who not only use our technology but help shape its evolution. Their insights informed our product roadmap, challenged our assumptions, and pushed us to continually raise the bar. These relationships—rooted in scientific rigor and mutual respect—are among our greatest assets.

The Team Behind the Technology

None of this would have been possible without our people. We continue to develop world-class capabilities and depth of expertise and diversity of perspective.

That is supported by our culture of innovation and cross-functional collaboration, curiosity, and accountability. As we scale, we remain grounded in our mission: empowering clinicians with intelligent tools that improve patient care.

Looking Ahead to 2026: Beyond the Aorta and Partnering for Growth

As proud as we are of 2025, our focus is firmly on the future. In 2026, Cydar Medical will continue to push beyond traditional boundaries. We will continue the existing trend of extending and supporting the use of Cydar Maps beyond aortic procedures and deeper into the vascular landscape.

Our vision is clear: to redefine how vascular surgery is planned, guided, and evaluated through intelligent, scalable technology. We will continue investing in AI, data analytics, and interoperability to support more complex anatomies, broader clinical applications, and greater global impact.

We are excited by the rapidly expanding understanding of and engagement with AI by the healthcare market as a way to improve the effectiveness and economics of health care, and we plan to play a key role as that market continues to mature.

We are seeing recognition of that in the shape of inbound interest from larger industry players with a need to access innovation and make AI and data analytics a key part of their wider strategy.  We believe in collaboration: to work closely with others in the field to integrate products, technologies and services in a way that is most useful to our common customers.

Here’s to building on this momentum—and to an even more impactful 2026.
